[Poor Jake. John is suddenly glad that none of his babies ever had a thing for glasse-- fuck he probably just jinxed himself by thinking that, didn't he?]
Ah, the Swablu was a gift from Rose and I. I wanted to give Jake something that could fly, you see. That way he wouldn't have to wait forever for the HM, plus he'd get a new pokemon out of the deal instead of the alternative of borrowing the HM. So two birds, one stone!
[See, he can be clever when he wants! Sometimes.]
Anyway, Rose was the one who did the actual breeding part, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out why she went with the combination that she did since it...didn't really result in a lot of egg moves. But the dad, my Togekiss, has a very particular quirk. Here, it'll probably all make sense if I just show you...
[He pulls a pokeball of his belt and releases a rather sparkly, vaguely gold, and larger than average Togekiss.]
I don't know if you have ever seen a normal one before, but usually they are pure white, and they don't sparkle like that.
video; OOPS MY BAD....
