seventh bubble; text.

whens your birthday?
im curious
and how do you normally celebrate it at your home?

where im originally from we dont use years or months or any of these things as a time term
a sweep isnt even equivalent to a year
and you have one wriggling day a sweep
although theres not much you do on them compared to human parties which i think are more fun
i cant even begin to figure out how you would equate a wriggling day to a yearly thing anyway
so i just did what jake suggested and picked something else for fun

speaking of!
ive got a list now and since i need to get it to several people this seems appropriate
sans terezi nepeta equius gamzee the birthday calendar is as follows:
february 14 eridan ampora february 22 sollux captor march 25 aradia megido
april 13 john egbert and jane crocker august 31 kanaya maryam
september 21 or 22 karkat vantas because whichever is the equinox!
and then december 1 is jake english and jade harley
december 3 is strider day
and december 4 is lalonde day

so that crosses off everyone i know from home but i do not have the days of everyone i know here
thus this very important question!
if you dont have one we can pick one because this is exciting!

[ as always, if you respond in something else, Aradia will match you. ]

By the end of the summer he's going to be so brighter! [ She has the utmost faith that she'll be able to convince him to become a softie... Within the span of six months... ]

Ooh! Okay! Then, in that case, maybe I'll just meet you when you tell me when you settled in! Is the view really pretty?
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

Occasionally, yes; there are certain medicines that can help with it, though more than anything, it has to do with the purity of the bloodline in question.

Hmmmm! In that case, I'll still talk to him! I get what you're saying! I mean, my best friend from home, Toshiro Hitsugaya, is grumpy and would probably lighten up a bit if he had more people to talk to. He'd still be kinda grumpy, but he'd be nicer and warmer once you get past that gruff exterior which would take a lot less effort, which would probably make their lives a little easier.

Ooh! If you can! I really like high views!

I don't think he's ever been here. With the exception of Nanao, I don't think anyone from my world has been here.

Okay!

[ She will look forward to the amazing views with bated breath!

And then promptly ask if it's scary up there. ]

Something like it, yes. It's something that can be built up over generations, though, since our ancestry is more easily traced.

You could say that, yes. I'm not sure what the equivalent would be, honestly--my family has been practicing for over 500 years, but other families have been practicing for over 1000. Of course, that doesn't prevent my family from being almost as powerful and influential as they come.

Unavoidable events are understandable. It's too easy to lose track of time that way.

What kind of unavoidable events?

Not really. I mean, sometimes I feel a little lonely but then I remember that Johto has a bunch of people in it that I can befriend. When I first started out, I was really shy and I was still trying to figure things out. But, now that I talk to all sorts of people, I'm kinda thankful for the situation I'm in, you know? If there were too many people from my home world, I'd kinda attach myself to them and not talk to strangers as much. I'm truly starting to become more confident on my own.

And my gosh! Aradia! Those pictures are so so pretty!

I've been here since late October, so that's around five months. I can't believe it'll be six real soon...

How long have you been here?

[A pause as he read and reread that.]

That's a lot of stuff happening!

The most deal with was school, studying, hanging out and I guess being stuck in a lockdown.

It most certainly is. I'm glad that I can take pride in being descended from people who are actually worth remembering.

Long story short, people's been summoning demons, so the government's forced to put Tokyo under a lockdown to keep it contained.

I was unlucky enough to be inside when they put up the barricade.
