im curious
and how do you normally celebrate it at your home?

where im originally from we dont use years or months or any of these things as a time term
a sweep isnt even equivalent to a year
and you have one wriggling day a sweep
although theres not much you do on them compared to human parties which i think are more fun
i cant even begin to figure out how you would equate a wriggling day to a yearly thing anyway
so i just did what jake suggested and picked something else for fun

speaking of!
ive got a list now and since i need to get it to several people this seems appropriate
sans terezi nepeta equius gamzee the birthday calendar is as follows:
february 14 eridan ampora february 22 sollux captor march 25 aradia megido
april 13 john egbert and jane crocker august 31 kanaya maryam
september 21 or 22 karkat vantas because whichever is the equinox!
and then december 1 is jake english and jade harley
december 3 is strider day
and december 4 is lalonde day

so that crosses off everyone i know from home but i do not have the days of everyone i know here
thus this very important question!

I believe that given the circumstances at the time, it was warranted.

Shoutarou speaks fondly of April. He says there is a nice wind blowing through our city that time of year, and it is a time of blooming for cherry blossom trees. I do not have many feelings concerning it, positive or negative.

i attended three human birthday parties last month so
i at least know about them!

Any information you can offer I will appreciate. I admit that I know very little about birthday celebrations themselves, even if I am familiar with the concept. As for a wriggling day, it is something I have never heard of before. Knowing how it differs from human birthday parties would be something I am interested in, as well as the origins for the different name. I prefer covering subjects as thoroughly as possible, though the books of this world are not nearly as expansive as the ones I have back home.

previously i was a troll
we hatch from eggs into wrigglers
and eventually pupate
and change into our more humanoid forms
and eventually eventually you become an adult troll which has a few changes as well

My research indicates that that pupation only occurs in a group of insects that undergo holometabolism and is proceeded by the larval stage, which I imagine is similar to a wriggler. However, those that reach the imaginal stage are anything but humanoid.

Your race is unlike any troll I have heard of before, though I admit I have not done many studies on the subject.
