im curious
and how do you normally celebrate it at your home?

where im originally from we dont use years or months or any of these things as a time term
a sweep isnt even equivalent to a year
and you have one wriggling day a sweep
although theres not much you do on them compared to human parties which i think are more fun
i cant even begin to figure out how you would equate a wriggling day to a yearly thing anyway
so i just did what jake suggested and picked something else for fun

speaking of!
ive got a list now and since i need to get it to several people this seems appropriate
sans terezi nepeta equius gamzee the birthday calendar is as follows:
february 14 eridan ampora february 22 sollux captor march 25 aradia megido
april 13 john egbert and jane crocker august 31 kanaya maryam
september 21 or 22 karkat vantas because whichever is the equinox!
and then december 1 is jake english and jade harley
december 3 is strider day
and december 4 is lalonde day

so that crosses off everyone i know from home but i do not have the days of everyone i know here
thus this very important question!
if you dont have one we can pick one because this is exciting!

Not really. I mean, sometimes I feel a little lonely but then I remember that Johto has a bunch of people in it that I can befriend. When I first started out, I was really shy and I was still trying to figure things out. But, now that I talk to all sorts of people, I'm kinda thankful for the situation I'm in, you know? If there were too many people from my home world, I'd kinda attach myself to them and not talk to strangers as much. I'm truly starting to become more confident on my own.

And my gosh! Aradia! Those pictures are so so pretty!

I've been here since late October, so that's around five months. I can't believe it'll be six real soon...

Was it difficult for you to start out?

It really seems like it'd be easier to start out here in the spring or summer. I mean, it's warmer and there's more sunlight then. When I first started, it was kinda cold and dark.

but i also had friends who had been here for years

they were somewhat helpful :)

Oh! That must be really lucky to have! Apparently some of my friends were here long ago, but, they were gone by the time I arrived.

Still, I didn't have it too hard either since I read up on what everything was and already have free room and board! I'm really thankful for the help I was given. [ Even if it was by Team Rocket ): Oh well. At least she didn't help them out. ]

It is! I'm glad I had a place to adjust. I don't think I'd be able to go anywhere immediately without settling down first.

I like being helpful. I guess I can't really say I care about the recognition, because helping others isn't something you do for yourself!

although i think some people do help others for themselves :p

Yeah. I know some people that would help others only so they'd be indebted to them later! Which is why I hope that I can help people before those types can help them!

Hehe... me too!

Commander Cobra is a local terrorist! Well, kinda. He's usually harmless and just talks about his various nefarious schemes on the network before they fail a week later, but he's still widely known through Johto because he's just as threatening as team rocket is. I mean, he poisoned the Slowpoke well once, and I think that's it in terms of great villainy he's done.
