eleventh bubble; video/action for ecruteak.

Hey! I'm not sure if everyone watches the EV News - I do, and they have the catchiest little intro jingle, don't you think? [ Pausing to hum that. You're welcome. ]

Anyway! Is anyone planning to go to this prom thing? And has anyone else managed to procquire a silver ticket? I have to say that seeing all those pokeballs drop from the sky was sort of fun! I actually can't take credit for catching my silver ticket, though - Panini caught it. I think he was sort of having a field day with things to catch from the sky, actually. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.

I've never been to a dance before. So I entirely plan to go! Besides, it sounds like it's happening in a new place, which is exciting. Have any of you been to dances before, though? I wouldn't mind hearing about them if you have!

We usually have balls for the court or to honor foreign dignitaries, so a certain decorum is expected, sadly.

[Which means he can't show off his awesome moves.]

We also dance at weddings, but we've not had many of those recently.

I don't think so. Plenty of people fall in love, but marriage is such a great step...

[Especially knowing they'll be separated sooner or later.]

I am, yes. Because of that, I had the chance to receive dancing lessons. Those should be useful very soon.

Besides, while you could have the ceremony I'm not certain if it would be legally valid.

[Not that it's the most important aspect of it, but still.]

I'd be happy to give you a few lessons. It might not quite match the local dances, but it'd be a start.

Which is rather surprising, truly, When did they find the time to fill in all the paperwork, and where did they obtain the necessary information in the first place?

I don't doubt that. As long as you have the basics, you can learn the rest from the music and from the other dancers around you, to some degree.

They are aware of our arrival, yet they've no idea why it happens or how to send us back. How strange.

I do, yes. It's a useful way of staying in shape when I'm training, and keeping a rhythm helps me concentrate when I am. In fact, a friend and I were looking into ways to combine dancing and swordplay, some time before I was brought here.

[Also, dancing girls are nice to watch.]

Weapons, yes. It's a shame; I do enjoy training and sparring for their own sakes, and doing so without blades is not quite the same.

Those whips of theirs look flimsy. Even Rydia's cheapest weapon would do more damage than them.

A dear friend of mine who has a talent for whips and magic. Though she has a few more tricks up her sleeves.

She can call powerful creatures to her side in battle. Like a Pokémon trainer, but Eidolons have their own land and society.

Magical sentient beings that enter pacts with Summoners for mutual protection, usually after duels. Most are quite friendly.

Exactly, with the added bonus that they all speak human languages and a wide variety of products in their shops.
