eleventh bubble; video/action for ecruteak.

Hey! I'm not sure if everyone watches the EV News - I do, and they have the catchiest little intro jingle, don't you think? [ Pausing to hum that. You're welcome. ]

Anyway! Is anyone planning to go to this prom thing? And has anyone else managed to procquire a silver ticket? I have to say that seeing all those pokeballs drop from the sky was sort of fun! I actually can't take credit for catching my silver ticket, though - Panini caught it. I think he was sort of having a field day with things to catch from the sky, actually. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.

I've never been to a dance before. So I entirely plan to go! Besides, it sounds like it's happening in a new place, which is exciting. Have any of you been to dances before, though? I wouldn't mind hearing about them if you have!

Ah! I hadn't even thought of that. Maybe we will get the chance to learn some while we're there. Hmm...maybe they have some books on the subject.

[Oh just one of the many ways you can tell that he's spent too much time around Rose. Not that books were ever a bad thing with John but...]

Anyway, I can teach you the chicken dance, it's super easy! Here, look...

[He sets the Pokégear down on the table and gets to his feet, scooting back a bit so that he can be caught fully on camera.]

Okay, so it's basically just four motions repeated to a beat of four. First you have your beak, then your wings, followed by the tail feathers, and finally clapping which I'm sure you don't need me to demonstrate. [The other three though, he's providing still demonstrations for what those poses are supposed to look like. You getting all this Aradia? There will be a test at the end.] Like I said, you do each of those motions four times before moving onto the next one and then your repeat all four strung together four times.

So basically, when you put it all together it looks like this.

[[s] John: Put it all together.]

[Yes, there's an [s] there for a reason. He's totally humming the Chicken Dance. This is surely the most enriching lesson in human culture that Aradia will ever recieve. It's okay, you can admit it. John knows it to be true.]

And then the music will change and you're supposed to link arms with the nearest person...hey Casey, , come here for a second! [The sweater-wearing Lopunny appears on camera a few seconds later and John bends down a little to link arms with her and spin around a few times.] and spin around like so. Everybody switches partners as they go [He releases Casey, moving half off screen for a moment as he reaches over to pick up his shiny Whimsicott from the couch so that he can kind of spin around with her tucked under one arm.] until the music changes back to the original beat and you start the whole process all over again.

[He stops spinning, Phoebe still wriggling and giggling in his arms a little.]

And that's how you do it! Simple, right?

[He flops backwards onto the couch, Phoebe wriggling out of his arms and clambering up onto his shoulder instead.]

Sure, go ahead! Best way to learn is by doing it!
