this is entirely unfair!
ive been waiting to go to the museum in pewter ever since john told me about it on day one
and then jade gave me that book for christmas
and i planned it all out so i could come and see it after all of the fossil things!
this was the plan!
to go to the museum!

Well, I am just not sure how much information you have on them! And I have been learning things, and while I don't think I'd like to spread it around generally because that just seems ill-advised, I do want us to be informed to the best of our abilities.

Apparently people are assigned Rocket upon coming like we were Trainer and Breeder, but I guess that's pretty obvious in retrospect. Well, I mean, I hadn't considered that part, but that's the story I got from two separate sources. They told me they hadn't ever been in New Bark with the entire Mom thing, you know?

...huh. You're right, it seems obvious in retrospect. I always just kinda like... figured maybe they decided to join up of their own free will? Assuming there actually were people from other worlds who DID join.

Well then. That's... interesting, to say the least. They really didn't have to deal with Mom? What happened to them instead? Like if you don't start in New Bark, where else would you?

Actually, one of them did leave the team. Apparently they got two weeks community service for being a rocket from the Jennies.

Oh... true. Suddenly I am very glad that the universal powers that be made me a trainer. Like damn, I am even okay with the class they assigned me that doesn't actually have any real bearing on things aside from your extra clothes, apparently.

I like what I was assigned! And honestly, I'm not sure I would have taken being given orders of any sort very well.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just do whatever. Well, I guess people do get jail time, but not a significant amount, from what I've seen.

I feel like there's some kind of fancy psychological term for that that Rose has mentioned before, but I am completely blanking on it at the moment.

But yeah, basically that doesn't teach people anything. And stuff like this will probably keep happening until the police force steps up their game.

Hey, I do have a completely unrelated question though if there's nothing else to say on the topic of team rocket. If there is though, it can wait until we are done with that. It's not really pressing or important or anything.

I only have one more piece of information on that part, and it's more relevant to them than us: apparently their starters are chipped by the team. One of the people I spoke with said that when they hadn't followed orders, they were attacked by that starter.

I don't know! It's really arbitrary. But I feel like a lot of things in this place can be that - arbitrary, I mean. There are people in that team, I think, that do not deserve to have all that happening to them.

Yeah... jeez. I had no idea, but it really could happen to anybody and that's kind of... terrible. The fact that it's only arbitrary at best just makes it worse.
