[ When the video comes on it’s pretty clear that Aradia is pointing it at something not her. Mostly because what is on the screen? Is Jake English, freaking out with two baby pokemon - a buneary and a wooper - in his lap while two eggs are clearly in the process of hatching before him. The baby pokemon are being fairly noisy and clearly want attention and possibly to be fed. There’s some quiet laughter from behind the gear, but Aradia’s not making fun of the situation. She’s just. Amused. And excited!! Baby pokemon are totally her thing, okay. ]

They keep hatching! What do I do?! I’m quickly running out of arms to hold them with over here!

[ There’s some more laughter, but Aradia props the gear up nearby so it still has a shot and comes around front to sit down by the eggs. ]

Well, we’re lucky I have two arms, too, right? And I’ve got some food mixed up, too. Don’t worry!! You’re doing great. Look how cute they are!

[ She sounds fairly at ease, and apparently chose a good time to sit down, because it looks like we’re getting a baby bulbasaur into the mix. Hey there, little one! Aradia’s just going to reach over for the bulbasaur, going to clean it off as she hums. Jake sighs as he fights the buneary off from trying to steal his glasses. Those are off-limits to ALL Pokemon. ]

You’re a lifesaver and I don’t know what I’d do without you, Aradia. I didn’t expect four of them to hatch all at once, though!

[ He suddenly gives her a mock suspicious look. ]

Are any of yours hatching today, too?

No, I’ve got a few more days before any hatch. The Pichu eggs should hatch...in three or four days? And that’s the soonest. [ So they’ll have even more baby pokemon in three or four days. Yeah. Speaking of, there is one last egg...] Oh, that’s the Swablu egg, right? [ She’s excited to see the Swablu. She’s never seen one in person before. ]

Ah, yes, that’s certainly--

[ Oh. That’s definitely not a blue Swablu. ]

... [ Jake kind of. Stares at it. Aradia is also sort of staring at it, a thoughtful little frown on her face. She picks up the pokemon, juggling bulbasaur over gently, and the Swablu seems to be healthy, despite the colour... ]

He seems to be fine - I’m not sure why he’s yellow. I’ve never seen much variation in the colours for species so far! [ At all, really. Baby Swablu sorry you’re being manhandled, but at least she’s being gentle about it. And, oh. Maybe she should break out the pokesnacks...with no free hands. Give her a second to settle you in her lap and reach back for the stuff she prepared. Weird colours or no, pokemon need to eat! ]

Ohmygosh I have a Tweety Bird!!

[ No, Jake didn’t hear a word of what Aradia said. He’s too preoccupied with the fact that he’s got what looks like a canary. ]

I thought it was a Swablu? But it’s a Tweety Bird pokebeast? [ People who never watched cartoons as children, even the Troll equivalents: Aradia Megido.

While Jake starts to correct her, the pokegear falls off of the table it was on, cutting off. Whoops.

Red is Aradia, green is Jake! Replies will come from either Aradia or Jake, but probably both; thread-jacking will happen and is fine. Any friends in Violet can alternately hit up Jake's room in person if they know where it is and want in on all this baby pokemon action. ]

[ Oh, Aradia will be watching this Buneary interplay very closely. ]

[Glasses safely in bunny hands, she jumps out of Jake's arms when she sees the coolbunny over yonder. Totally hopping over to give him a big hug!]

I didn't think of that. We could certainly ask the shops to see if they sell anything like that for Pokemon.

I don't see why not! At least things would be plastic so they wouldn't break easily.

[Smiling and leaning back to give both bunnies room, Jane just watches. Sebby? Let's the other bunny launch and hug, lightly patting her on the head with some nose rubbings.]

They're bound to, anyway - almost everything in this world is geared towards Pokemon. It would be strange if there weren't clothes or accessories for them, I think?

[ Indy the Gastly phases into being right next to the bunny hugs. He may be trying to scare them, yep. ]

Fair point! Maybe there's something sturdy enough for a mischievous Buneary.

[Yay, hugs! New Buneary friend get! Also hi there Indy. She gives you a curious look.]

[The Gastly has Sebby snapping his ear out -- but it's more like a brofist, since his ear goes right through the ghost.]

[ ...Man, these guys are no fun. He'll go troll Caty Purry instead.

Except no he's cool with brofists. Someday he will be a Haunter with fists of his own, Sebby. ]

Jane, do you have any eggs still?

[Jake chuckles at the trio, getting a general idea through the blurred figures. Kathleen is sadly not the easiest bunny to scare.]

[SOONNNN. Then they can BROFIST to end all brofists.] Nope! The two I got from Gamzee hatched back on the fifth, and I haven't really had the funds to get others.

[Lifting a hand, she's going to pet both bunnies with a smile.]

[ Pretty much all Indy will do when that day comes, to be honest. He cackles and leaves the room via a wall, though. ...Aradia should probably be more worried about that then she actually is, but he never goes farther than a room over. ]

I've still got a few left to hatch, but they're all spaced out...the Lapras egg should take the longest.

I think next up are the Pichu and Sentret eggs I have. The other one...well, Cheria wasn't sure what Pokemon it was to begin with, so I've no idea when that one hatches.

[Then Kathleen will go back to hugging the hell out of Sebby. She'll probably follow him around for the rest of his life at this point.]

You two and your inability to not buy more eggs, hoohoo!

[Sebby will be curling an ear about Kathleen now, and when Jane quirks an eyebrow at him? Gives a sort of thumbs up with his other ear.] Oh dear. I think they're already fast friends and they've known each other for hardly ten minutes.

I haven't bought any too recently! [ ...You know, aside from that godmander egg up there you both saw her buy like ten minutes ago.

Jake is totally the one with the problem here right.

Egg addictions aside, Aradia will giggle at the Bunearys. ] They'd make an excellent match!

[ yes she's in breeder matchmaker mode hwy do you ask ]

Eheh... [Jake's got nothing to say to that, just blushing lightly.

Kathleen is a very giddy bunny right now.] Haha, they are pretty cute, I must say!

Bunnies are honestly always cute, but after seeing Sebby with such a Strider appearance for so long.. well, he's looking a bit extra cute by being so friendly for a change! [Jane's getting an ear covering her mouth now, but she can't help laughing about it.]

You can't say I'm already embarrassing you! You're the one doing all the cuddling here!

Jane's right - it's a bit too late for that sort of thing.

[ They've seen your weakness, Sebby. ]

It's so sweet!

[Kathleen gives him a bunny kiss on the cheek before hopping off to explore the rest of the room. Friends, friends, yay! :D]

[Sebby is up and following Kathleen easily, joining the exploration if only to keep an eye on her; and to escape the prying eyes of the trainers in the room goshhh.

Overall, Jane is just giggling forever about it.]

I suppose we'll wind up like your friend with the Woopers, Jake, and have lots of Buneary eggs when she's older.

Eridan and Cheria, you mean? [ Hmm. At least they'd have a lot of moves? B|a ]

At the rate I've been going, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I ended up with almost 60 eggs like she did....

.... What do we even do with sixty eggs? We obviously can't care for all of them. [Herp. That is kind of concerning now.]

Sell them! [ She sounds pretty bouncy about it, too. ] Jake, I wouldn't worry; you're not a breeder, and apparently breeders get more eggs than trainers. Although of course that means any matches between our pokemon would net more eggs...

Oh, I think there's also a possibility of donating them to the Breeding Center.

Suddenly, I'm glad that I'm not a breeder.
