[Well on seeing the message and talking with Jake to see if she should or he was shift taking; when he's off to get to work for Aradia, Jane figured the best she could do was give the door a knock.]

Hey, do you mind if I come in? I brought a few things that might help..

[ Aradia's pretty much just curled up in bed with her gear, Indy floating anxiously nearby, and although it takes a try or two to figure out that those are words and a knock - she's mostly just staring at the gear until the words all make sense, trying to reassure people, she nods.

Then. Realizes nodding won't do anything. ]

Jane? [ Give her a second. There's more that's needed here. ] Yes, you can...

[Opening the door and adjusting the tray in her hands, Jane stepped in with a small smile. It isn't a cold, but a simple broth soup might help at least with keeping her fed.]

I brought one of the antidotes I had with me, though I don't know how effective it will be. It might be easier to take with this, at least..

[ Oh okay, sitting up should be a thing. It just takes Aradia a minute of disorientation, since she wasn't lying about not being on speaking terms with vertical, the direction or the orientation. Indy hovers closer as she sits herself up, looking close to scolding. ]

Oh! You didn't have to do that. [ Actually, she's...surprised, a little, although she knows humans do things differently. You don't have to be moirails or matesprits to look out for one another. It's nice. ]

It's not a problem. [Carrying the tray in and setting it at the bedside table, she starts lightly fussing with the blankets and pillow to make Aradia more comfortable and hopefully, less dizzy.]

Do you feel like you can stomach anything? This is mostly just chicken broth, since I'm sure solid food sounds the least bit appetizing.

[ Food...doesn't sound all that appetizing, but Jane went to the trouble of making it and she hasn't kept anything down since that morning, so Aradia will nod, if hesitantly. She's willing to try! ]

If it's mostly broth, that should be fine, I think?

It's just fine if you don't want to try eating just yet. [Giving a reassuring smile, she reaches for the glass of water that she brought in as well, before popping in a bendy straw.]

Here, let's try some water first.

[ This is why Jane and Jake have the best travel group. Nanna and Poppop.

But no, Aradia will accept the glass of water, and at least drinking that isn't a chore at all; she really is thirsty. ]

Jane starts working on opening that antidote now, peeling the wrapper off and removing the spray top.] I do hope this works..

Well, it can't make things worse? [ She looks pretty green around the gills. If she had gills, anyway. ]

I'd hate to make things worse. [Pouring the liquid into an actual cup, Jane hands it over but keeps that water ready in case she needs something to get the taste out of her mouth.]

[ ...Wow drinking an antidote is not fun as it turns out, so she does need that water. ]

[Easily hands it over.] Tastes awful, it looks like.

[ She's not responding until she's drunk down a fair amount of that water. ] It's...not the best. I wouldn't recommend it.

I just hope it helps you feel better in the long run. [Smiles a bit, tossing the empty bottle in the trash.]

I do, too. [ Although as long as she doesn't think about it too much - well, okay, she still feels badly, but if she's focused on other things, it's...not so bad. ] Have you ever been sick?

Mostly only colds or the flu during the winter seasons; it's hard to avoid them at least once a year. [Keeps herself busy with making sure Aradia's pillow is fluffed and her blankets are tucked all around her.]

[ oh my gosh Jane you are a perfect human being and Aradia will do whatever you want forever. ] Hopefully this is my once-a-year.
