Oh, shiny is just the term! It's the word for any pokemon who has a distinctly different coloration from the norm.

Oh! In that case, I do think he's shiny. I don't think I'd ever actually describe dark green as shiny, but, if that's what they call it... [ Eh, oh well. No need to fret over that. ] I bet other pokémon have better examples of becoming shinier when they are a different color.

Well, a shiny Togekiss I met was sort of gold and sparkly?

Ooh! Was it wild or did it belong to a trainer?! I wonder if I can ask them to see their shiny togekiss! [ She's excited to see a golden colored cutie. So so very very excited... ]

It belonged to John Egbert! And I'm absolutely sure he wouldn't mind letting you see it.

Oh! That's someone else I have to talk to! I met his fiance when she announced their engagement and I promised to get them something when they got married, so.... [ She kinda bites the bottom of her lip and reflects on what she's saying before starting up again. ] I want it to be something that both of them would like, you know? [ Eying Aradia and praying that she gets that the look on Momo's face means, "Any suggestions would be soooo appreciated. ]

I'm pretty sure they'd appreciate anything - but something they both like...I know some of the things they like separately, but I'm not sure what they'd like together.

What would they like separately? [ Maybe she can find a really nice overlap between the two! ]

John likes ghosts and pranks! Rose likes knitting, eldritch creatures, and psychology.

Well, I guess I can get an Eldritch Creature Ghost... whatever that is... [ She seriously has no clue what the hell an Eldritch is. ] Maybe it can be something that reads minds too.

I'm not sure what that would be, actually! But it sounds interesting?

Yeah! I guess I'll just go to the library soon and look up what an Eldritch is. It sounds like either a really gross thing, or some sort of gourmet chocolate. [ Momo... the fact that those two sound remotely similar to you u_u. ]

I think it's sort of, you know, things with lots of tentacles?

Wha?! Tentacles?! [ Why tentacles?! ] Do ghosts even have tentacles?! [ Ew tentacles. ]

I think it depends on the ghost, actually! The Horrorterrors did, but they're not really ghosts...

Horrorterrors? [ Those don't sound too sweet. ] T-those sound like hollows. I mean, they don't sound too friendly... [ Her voice trails off, distant and intimidated. How can you not be intimidated with the name Horrorterrors is beyond Momo's comprehension. ]

Well, they're not exceedingly social, but they're not all bad. At least, they agreed to make the "Afterlife" that I was guiding people through. So...there are good parts to them, probably?

If that's the case, then they don't really sound like Hollows. Hollows are just really destructive creatures that consume souls and have no rational thoughts of their own. They just exist to destroy. They're souls that were never crossed over, so they just lose it. I would too if I was chained to where I died and was there for years before I was discovered. [ She's sympathetic to how a hollow is made, but, at the same time, she can't just let them destroy everything because she's super nice. ]

Ah...that does sound pretty difficult! I'm glad I didn't have to be chained somewhere after I died, certainly!

It's really difficult! I'm glad I didn't have to be dead for too long until someone crossed me over. Otherwise, I would become hollow bait and I wouldn't like that at all.

So how did you die?

[ THAT'S NOT AN APPROPRIATE QUESTION... ]

Uh! Uh! I died in a wild fire... [ She's a bit awkward about this. She hesitates for a few moments before blurting out that information. ] I just couldn't get out of there in time so I was kinda burnt. I think that's why my zanpakutou creates fire energy that I can fling and fire at people.

[timelymaid]

I see! So in your world, your manner of death is connected to the zanpakutou?

[tendered]

Usually it is, yeah. Sometimes, it's just something else that's significant to you. Like how some people receive their starter pokémon because they have similarities.

...months later i realize i somewhere dropped the quirk and thought this was voice. :|a welp.

I think mine sort of had a similarity! At least, he was a ghost pokemon!
