[ She's well aware that text isn't a preferred mode of communication for some people, and this is too important to not get out to the greatest amount of people who knew him possible, but...Aradia's forgoing video for once, so all that's coming through is her voice. She sounds fairly calm, if a bit rushed, but there's a bit less pep and a bit more seriousness, though admittedly only those who are familiar with her may even note that much. ]

Hi. Jake English went home today. [ Just...putting it out there, front and center. Aradia takes another breath before continuing. ]

I'm not sure exactly when, but...well, we've been having the same problems as everyone else. A little bit. It was only the once, but - well, let's just say we were all split up. And I was trying to contact everyone to try to coordinate a reunion, but - I couldn't reach Jake's gear.

I tried a few times, just to be sure, so - I don't think it's a mistake. ...Besides which, both of the Jake Pokemon are with me, and - [ Well. Logic therefore dictates that he's gone. ]

If anyone has any Pokemon from his roster I'd appreciate it if you sounded off. I'm sure they're all going to be well cared for but it would be nice to know where they ended up, although admittedly there are a number of Pokemon to account for.

[ There's a short pause, and then, wryly: ] We had a bit of a problem back then, didn't we? ...Anyway, that's about it. Oh! I did find Kanaya, though. We just ended up on opposite ends of town.

You'll want to look for "Zorua", I imagine. He took the name "Zorro" because it's a Spanish word that means "fox". That's what they called him, "El Zorro" — the fox, so cunning and free.

but i dont think that changes even if hes gone
or even if he forgets about it
and by all rights the time here probably wasnt meant to occur
so i dont think i can really begrudge it ending as long as it did occur to start with

I know more than twenty languages. Zack's coming along well with quite a few of them, himself — the vocabulary, at least. But Johto tends to get in the way of my expressing them without particular difficulty in doing so.

And that does make sense. Hard though it may be to embrace, at times.

i wouldnt mind learning a bit about them sometime if youre willing to teach :o

and while things suck sometimes as long as im alive im okay
and i will get through whatever it is because im able to do that

I'd put Zack on to serenade you with one of his favorites, but I've had to ban him from using the Gear for the duration. It's been making him miserable, but it's better safe than sorry.

I would think being dead would alter one's perspective on a lot of things, yes.

That's right. He interfaces with the network a little too directly for me to feel entirely comfortable about letting him plug into it today. No matter how inconsolable — and intolerable — it's rendered him in the interim.

And I'll miss him, of course. But I always do.

jake will still be more than happy to see us again :)

On an average day, Zack spends about twenty-three of its twenty-four hours inside my Gear interfacing with the network and its functions. The problem isn't so much what he's doing; it's that he has nothing to do — and I've got to find a way to occupy him, now, for the duration of all of that time when he'd otherwise be amusing himself.

It's hard, missing people. I've done more of it during my time in Johto than I think I ever have before.

i dont know where you are right now but i can recommend some pretty neat ruins you may like to explore!

i think ive had more people here to miss than i ever have before
ive realized that while my world seemed very large back home
it seems pretty small compared to all the people ive met here even if
the geography of johto itself seems smaller

Unfortunately, we'll be saving the adventure until after things settle down outside — assuming they do at all. I'm not in the mood to take chances, when I've seen secondhand some of the things that have been happening to other people.

which was sort of nice in that i hadnt seen him in person in a while
but less nice in that he was warping around all over the place so
and my own party just got split up because why not i guess

john likes ghosts and pranks and is pretty great all around :)

thats just normally the explanation for chaos here ive found
though i admit none of the ones ive read about seem to match up with whats happening right now
but i havent read everything and im certain there are pokemon even the people here dont know about yet

according to kayneth time has been lost before even if no one had memories of that lost time
the first time it happened i had memories of it so i assume something changed
before i arrived here
but i have no guesses as to the cause of all these shenanigans
although the fact they seem to be getting more memorable and more drawn out is you know
probably cause for slight concern haha

Someone I know always felt that way, too. He thought it meant something was coming.

I don't know if I believe that, but I'm willing to trust him, and he believed it. So it's something to consider there, too.

well ive found that theres rarely build up to something only to have nothing happen
and while of course i wouldnt mind if that were the case here
(being that i cant think of anything particularly pleasant all this nonsense could be building up to)
ive also found that its best to hope for the best but plan for the worst

though honestly my plans all involve "attempt to figure out what the heck is going on"
and my progress is nil beyond pinning down with kayneth the timeframe pattern of the occurance of these lost days
