[ She's well aware that text isn't a preferred mode of communication for some people, and this is too important to not get out to the greatest amount of people who knew him possible, but...Aradia's forgoing video for once, so all that's coming through is her voice. She sounds fairly calm, if a bit rushed, but there's a bit less pep and a bit more seriousness, though admittedly only those who are familiar with her may even note that much. ]

Hi. Jake English went home today. [ Just...putting it out there, front and center. Aradia takes another breath before continuing. ]

I'm not sure exactly when, but...well, we've been having the same problems as everyone else. A little bit. It was only the once, but - well, let's just say we were all split up. And I was trying to contact everyone to try to coordinate a reunion, but - I couldn't reach Jake's gear.

I tried a few times, just to be sure, so - I don't think it's a mistake. ...Besides which, both of the Jake Pokemon are with me, and - [ Well. Logic therefore dictates that he's gone. ]

If anyone has any Pokemon from his roster I'd appreciate it if you sounded off. I'm sure they're all going to be well cared for but it would be nice to know where they ended up, although admittedly there are a number of Pokemon to account for.

[ There's a short pause, and then, wryly: ] We had a bit of a problem back then, didn't we? ...Anyway, that's about it. Oh! I did find Kanaya, though. We just ended up on opposite ends of town.

[This girl hasn't talked to him in such a while but its still kind of hurts knowing a friend has yet again went home. Especially if that one friend was a former crush of her's.]

Oh, good! Thanks, Misaki - I'm sure he'll be happy there! ...And I'm okay. [ She is, although she'll miss Jake. People go away and people die; these are facts of life, and Aradia's views on them are probably a bit different than most. It isn't as though this is forever. ]

I'll miss talking to him and travelling with him until he gets here next, but there isn't really anything I can do about that.

It's not a matter of wanting to - when people leave here, their pokemon stay behind, too. And oftentimes they'll find their way to other people! Not always, but...

Jake cared for his pokemon a great deal. I'd be remiss if I didn't check up on where they were.

Will they be okay? They'll probably miss him, huh?

I think so. One or two of the pokemon I have now belonged to me a long time ago, and I think they were happy to see me return. But...most of the pokemon that are here from Jake, I was around them since their birth or capture. So that might make things a little easier on those ones at least.

[ And the others are going to people who Jake cared for, surely, so... ]

[John sighs and pulls on his shoes. His box is full and has been for a while, so he doesn't fully expect to find any of Jake's Pokémon hiding in there but with how weird things have been lately? It's probably worth a check.]

[It's not until he's out the door of the inn that he responds to Aradia.]

I don't think it's possible for any of his Pokémon to have wound up with me but I'm going to check anyway. Things have been kind of weird with the PC system lately, at one point it sent all my Pokémon in there except for Sassacre? Which shouldn't have even been possible but there you have it.

How are you holding up? He'll probably be back before any of us know it. [It's almost scary how much he's starting to sound like a tape recorder when this sort of thing happens. He can't really even be upset anymore. He's sad, sure, he wished Jake didn't have to go but, hey. Them's the 8r8ks.]

And I'm okay! [ Should she feel bad about that? A little sad, but...well, when you've died as many times as she has, you just sort of learn to roll with the punches and be really happy about the stuff that you can be happy about. ] I'll miss him, but - well, you once told me Johto has a revolving door for our friends!

Haha, yeah. No problems after I got rid of that Haunter. Though... admittedly I was a little sad to see it go. [So. Sad.] At least with teleporting. My Pokémon have been going in and out of my box at random, some of my items decided to duplicate themselves, and the bunny Rose gave me for my thirteenth birthday suddenly appeared in my bag.

[BUT HEY...he stopped warping. That's the important thing here.]

But yeah, that didn't stop being true. Though lately it seems to be a little slower of a revolve than it was in the past. But it's okay. Just as long as they all come back eventually!

Ah...you were hoping it would be a shiny or something...? [ There's a brief sigh on her end. ] Things don't make any more sense over here! ...And I've had some of the same problems, although I can't say I mind locating what I did! It even fits this time.

Isn't a slower revolve better? I actually rather like it here. And it isn't as though any of the important things we were doing stop just because we aren't there, apparently, so I'm not that worried about being here.

No one needs to see the gloved fingers winding about the mother's necklace Jake gave her for Mother's Day or the expression on her face, the latter giving away just how unhappy she is at the moment. That's two of her kids in less than forty-eight hours. She's checked. She's checked and checked and checked, so she doesn't have to ask if anyone is sure. She knows. They're gone. ]

I have to admit, I am growing weary of people vanishing.

It's a bit troublesome! John's always said it's like a revolving door, but I didn't really get what he meant until now, I think.
