[ She's well aware that text isn't a preferred mode of communication for some people, and this is too important to not get out to the greatest amount of people who knew him possible, but...Aradia's forgoing video for once, so all that's coming through is her voice. She sounds fairly calm, if a bit rushed, but there's a bit less pep and a bit more seriousness, though admittedly only those who are familiar with her may even note that much. ]

I'm not sure exactly when, but...well, we've been having the same problems as everyone else. A little bit. It was only the once, but - well, let's just say we were all split up. And I was trying to contact everyone to try to coordinate a reunion, but - I couldn't reach Jake's gear.
I tried a few times, just to be sure, so - I don't think it's a mistake. ...Besides which, both of the Jake Pokemon are with me, and - [ Well. Logic therefore dictates that he's gone. ]
If anyone has any Pokemon from his roster I'd appreciate it if you sounded off. I'm sure they're all going to be well cared for but it would be nice to know where they ended up, although admittedly there are a number of Pokemon to account for.

[Really, it's more because of who the hat originally belonged to that he says this. Not that he necessarily thinks that Aradia won't take care of it, but...]
[He's happy for you, Aradia, really. Even if he's a little sad, it gives him something of a warm sensation to know that the hat wound up with somebody who will truly enjoy it. And damn if the idea of her wearing it everywhere and excitedly plundering even the most mundane of ruins isn't completely and utterly adorable.]
I think you mentioned ruinds before but not that they were frog ruins? Were they like Jade's frog ruins like is this some kind of weird SBURB conspiracy?
[Yes let's talk about the ruins instead of the hat. Much better topic.]

Of course! I will take the absolute best care of it! ...Actually, I don't think my wardrobe has ever been in better repair, since coming here. Well, since Kanaya joined our group after splitting off of Karkat's, I mean. She is very anti-wear and tear.
[ There is literally no chance of anything happening to the hat in light of that, but - well, Aradia's not about to let anything happen to her cool accessory! Especially when she needs it for plundering! ]
Oh, yes! They were! And when I prototyped myself with one I was a frog spirit? So, I mean, they were always frog ruins. I think it probably has to do with SGRUB - I mean, that's where I found the codes, or what would become the codes once Sollux translated them - and there is the whole frog-breeding thing.

I remember you mentioning you were a frog and then a robot but I guess I just always figured you like... I dunno did what Dave did and prototyped a dead animal or something. Probably a SBURB thing though, yeah. I mean what isn't at this point?

Most things are! I mean, our entire lives were, so. And I could have done that, but we didn't really have frogs in the way you'd think of them on Alternia? So I don't know where I would have gotten one. A dead frog, I mean.
