fifteenth bubble; video/action for celadon.

[ Aradia looks way too cheerful when the feed comes on, considering she appears to be outdoors and in the thick of the chaos, happily in the midst of the rampaging fossil-types. A few fossil types seem to be surrounding her protectively, though - two Kabutops and a Carracosta, with two Aerodactyl in the sky.

In light of the event, everyone except her Gengar partner - who can be seen in her shadow, his grin flickering - was changed over to backup, since it seemed more fair to allow the fossil-types to join her in her explorations.

The chaos apparently bothers her not at all. ]

Isn't this fantastic? [ ...like, not a little bit, she's far too excited for that. ] All of them back from the dead...!

It can be a bit confusing, at first. Coming back from the dead, I mean! No wonder they're upset. But more importantly - aren't they fascinating? And that there's that sort of power here, to bring fossils back to life...Of course, Brock did mention the machine he uses in Pewter, but this isn't that. It's the power from one person, right? It's just fantastic.

I haven't ever managed to see some of these in person before today...! Just notes on their fossils in my books, and that sort of thing. [ And she may or may not have been out since midnight last night, when it started. Because...fossils. ] There's so much to learn before it's done!

Oh, if anyone learns anything interesting or sees anything interesting, please do tell me!! I can only watch so much of it at once. [ There's a great deal of noise off to the side, as one of the Kabutops unleashes a water attack on some approaching Kabutos. Aradia looks off to see what happened, and though she looks intrigued, she's still not concerned or upset. Just...really happy. ]

Well, I'd better go. We're helping out, for now, since it means I can explore a bit more and see how the fossil types are reacting...

Ooooh, what's that?

[ And she's out. HAPPILY. Those in Celadon can find her poking around and trying to study the rampaging hordes - or occasionally lending an assist to stopping them, although her pokentourage is more into that then she is. ]

Mhm! She's super cute - I was a little worried when I found her looking so scared, but she's adapting pretty well! I hope I never have to lose her.

[John is a little ways away, sitting on his Dusknoir's shoulders and watching his Haunter and Rotom go to town on some of the fossilmons. They seem to be having a blast.]

Hey, Aradia, you getting tired yet?

[WHAT TIME IS IT NOW, ANYWAY? HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN OUT HERE?]
islandshore: (... let's not go there)

I'm amazed at how far this is spreading. Even the fossil I picked up from the tournament last year is--

[He's interrupted as an Archen squawks and divebombs his head with sticks in its mouth. Must make nest! Kraaaa!]

Still, you've gotta be one of the few people I've seen who isn't freaking out about this. I'm surprised.
enjoymyatelier: i am just done with this shit (ugh whatever)

That's true, though it makes the fact that they're returned to us during those three-day periods somewhat more inexplicable. My initial theory was that we were being forced to conform to this world's system outside of a short period where those limitations were lifted, which was honestly less infuriating to me because it meant that everyone here was bound by the same rules, but... that clearly isn't the case.

Those things are masters of stealth and teleportation climbing up legs, apparent- Hey, no pinching!

[Ash uses Punch The Rock Bug Thing! It's not very effective!]

[He actually stops punching a few seconds to ponder that idea.]

...I don't think that's legal or even moral, on a public beach. There might be children.

[Back to punching.]

Yes, I had a power--...w-wait! You're saying you could do the same? [That's astonishing! Not to mention impossible in her world, so....wow. Color Perona surprised, and deeply intrigued.] You could speak with them, too? I...I don't think I ever could, and especially not before I ate the Hollow Hollow fruit. Can you tell me more? ...Please? I've never met anyone other than me who could do the things I did.

Eh--what? [You can practically hear the bubble pop when Perona perks up again, and she smiles back at the Gengar once more, though it seems a bit more distracted.] Oh, horohoro, it's nice to meet you, Indy-chan! Are you taking good care of Aradia?
ghostytrainer: (no i cannot smile doofishly.)

[Aradia, you are going to stay up for this entire event, aren't you...]

Hahaha, fair enough point, I guess. I mean with Sabrina and Morty working on this, I wouldn't be surprised if they have the fossil zombies laid back to rest by the end of the evening. [Morty-senpai is awesome like that.]

So, what did the network have to say? Found out anything ne-- ahh!! [John's Dusknoir suddenly reaches up and grabs hold of the boy with both hands, dodging sharply left to narrowly avoid a badly-aimed energy ball from Slimer the Haunter.] Jesus! [He pats Elliot's "halo".] Thanks but... maybe give a little warning next time, big guy? You nearly made me wet my pants there. And Slimer! [He frowns over at the now-laughing Haunter.] Watch it or you will go right back in the ball, buddy. No more rampant fossil-chaos for you!

[The Haunter scoffs before floating away to go pick on a small gathering of Lileep a little ways away and John turns his attention back to Aradia.]

Anyway, sorry about that. As I was saying, did the network have anything interesting to say about this?

Pray they don't see all that exposed skin as an invitation.

[One of those punches must have been effective, because he reaches down to his ankle and comes back up with an Anorith.]

...Want a little knee-pincher?

True. I guess if you can get past all the rampages going down, this is a good opportunity to pick up on all their habits and stuff.

[As for his fossil, looks at his crazy dino bird an sighs.]

That Archen used to be a fossil, anyway. It was part of the prize for winning the Advanced cup, and I'm pretty sure the other winners walked home with fossils, too.

I'm kind of surprised she did, to be honest. I mean I get that she's a psychic, but I didn't think dead stuff was really her area of expertise. [A beat.] Then again, given the result of this...

[He's probably said it at least once already but Morty totally wouldn't have screwed up this badly had he been the one doing the seance.] That makes sense though. Different habitats and all. Kind of a bummer though since that means we won't get to see them all...

It's fine! I'd be saving a town and giving a gift to my friend! What's there not to like? [ She giggles. ] I hope the less violent ones stay! They're super cute!

...Then again, it may just be that the abilities I have back home aren't a perfect match to something like this... there may be a different source to her abilities, and the sudden influx of new people and concepts that exist in other worlds could mean that there's more of a connection between this world and others during those times.

...Of course, even if that is the case, it doesn't make it any less frustrating to see something like this when you're effectively powerless.

The flying fossils are what I'm worried about! I wouldn't be surprise to see Aerodactyls flying around, if they haven't already.

[Give it a few days, Atsuro.]

Which ones are you going to catch?
