[ Aradia looks way too cheerful when the feed comes on, considering she appears to be outdoors and in the thick of the chaos, happily in the midst of the rampaging fossil-types. A few fossil types seem to be surrounding her protectively, though - two Kabutops and a Carracosta, with two Aerodactyl in the sky.

In light of the event, everyone except her Gengar partner - who can be seen in her shadow, his grin flickering - was changed over to backup, since it seemed more fair to allow the fossil-types to join her in her explorations.

The chaos apparently bothers her not at all. ]

Isn't this fantastic? [ ...like, not a little bit, she's far too excited for that. ] All of them back from the dead...!

It can be a bit confusing, at first. Coming back from the dead, I mean! No wonder they're upset. But more importantly - aren't they fascinating? And that there's that sort of power here, to bring fossils back to life...Of course, Brock did mention the machine he uses in Pewter, but this isn't that. It's the power from one person, right? It's just fantastic.

I haven't ever managed to see some of these in person before today...! Just notes on their fossils in my books, and that sort of thing. [ And she may or may not have been out since midnight last night, when it started. Because...fossils. ] There's so much to learn before it's done!

Oh, if anyone learns anything interesting or sees anything interesting, please do tell me!! I can only watch so much of it at once. [ There's a great deal of noise off to the side, as one of the Kabutops unleashes a water attack on some approaching Kabutos. Aradia looks off to see what happened, and though she looks intrigued, she's still not concerned or upset. Just...really happy. ]

Well, I'd better go. We're helping out, for now, since it means I can explore a bit more and see how the fossil types are reacting...

Ooooh, what's that?

[ And she's out. HAPPILY. Those in Celadon can find her poking around and trying to study the rampaging hordes - or occasionally lending an assist to stopping them, although her pokentourage is more into that then she is. ]

Maybe you should. I haven't went out to the routes yet, so the grasses might have some Pokemon lying and waiting. Or even the forests!

[Fantastic? Fascinating?! Absolutely not! Perona's been going absolutely crazy with all these disgusting things crawling around! Some of them looked like bugs, and she caught one crawling all over her bag right before she reached to grab it this afternoon. Oh, ow loud did she scream... Perona's voice still hurt a bit from that. And the worst thing was that these things were exceedingly hard to get rid of!]

Just what is fantastic about any of this?! There are disgusting bugs and other nasty creatures crawling around! Worst of all, Bearsy-kun and Mihawk-san aren't well equipped to dispose of them quickly...and they've already been hurt by these things! If this goes on for any longer I'll have to travel back to town, and that's such a waste. [Even if the spa in Cherrygrove was marvelous.] And what may happen to my little egg, o-or to me, if my other monsters can't protect me?! I don't want these nasty bugs crawling on me! I won't relive that nightmare again!

They're all fossil types! Usually, they'd be extinct, right? You can barely find them anywhere...but now they've all been brought back to life! There's just so much we can learn from them! All of these once-dead creatures...!

...As to that, though, If you need better protection, I can lend you a higher level pokemon for however long this lasts.

I don't care what they are, it was better when they were extinct! These things are disgusting, skittering bugs! They're scary in the bad way, and they've injured my adorable pokemon, too. They should have stayed dead or became ghosts! Cute ghosts, so I could catch another to join the one I'll have when my egg hatches!

[Ah, that's...really tempting, but also a bit troubling, too. Perona does want protection, but she also want her pokemon to grow stronger, too. If she had her devil fruit abilities, then it'd be a whole other story! She could train her pokemon and back them up when they needed it. Her Negative Hollows would take care of these things. Besides, she never needed help before her powers were taken away! It's a slap in the face to seem so weak now.]

...No. I appreciate the offer, but I can take care of myself and my cuties. If I don't, then they won't be able to grow later, and that'll just cause more trouble for me. And I don't think Mihawk would enjoy being overlooked by a stronger pokemon, either. He's so much like that old man...

...honestly, I don't know whether to be fascinated or frustrated by this. Oh, yes, we have all our abilities stripped from us upon arrival, but one of the natives has the ability to reanimate things that died millions of years ago and send them rampaging all over Kanto and Johto?

That is a little bit unfair! Though I suppose that means that our being stripped of powers might have something to do with the arrival process? After all, natives don't go through that.

That's true, though it makes the fact that they're returned to us during those three-day periods somewhat more inexplicable. My initial theory was that we were being forced to conform to this world's system outside of a short period where those limitations were lifted, which was honestly less infuriating to me because it meant that everyone here was bound by the same rules, but... that clearly isn't the case.

Have you founded any that you really really want to catch yet, Aradia? [ Momo's been using Sunkern to fight off the fossils, but, right now, in order to talk with her friend, she's retreated to the safety of her room... which will be breached, if the rattling in the air vent is any indication. ]

[He pats Elliot's "halo".] Thanks but... maybe give a little warning next time, big guy? You nearly made me wet my pants there. And Slimer! [He frowns over at the now-laughing Haunter.] Watch it or you will go right back in the ball, buddy. No more rampant fossil-chaos for you!

[The Haunter scoffs before floating away to go pick on a small gathering of Lileep a little ways away and John turns his attention back to Aradia.]

That Archen used to be a fossil, anyway. It was part of the prize for winning the Advanced cup, and I'm pretty sure the other winners walked home with fossils, too.
