sixteenth bubble; text/action for pewter. BACKDATED TO THE 2ND/yesterday.
no :(
this is entirely unfair!
ive been waiting to go to the museum in pewter ever since john told me about it on day one
and then jade gave me that book for christmas
and i planned it all out so i could come and see it after all of the fossil things!
this was the plan!
to go to the museum!
this is so stupid!!
by the way the museum was robbed i guess
and now its closed
and i cant go in
kanaya will you go to mt moon with me i guess we can at least TRY to salvage this
people who rob museums are the worst
[ After sulkily lurking outside of the museum for a little while in the morning, Aradia will be drawing up a plan of attack for Mt. Moon, easily found either at the inn or on a bench outside or at a cafe somewhere. She is not the happiest of campers for once, although her mood will not last long at all. As ever she'll match whatever mode of reply she gets. ]

Granted, there were attacks some time ago that seemed to be legitimately threatening, but it's hard to reconcile them with, well, this.
[text]
like between being an actual legitimate threat and just being sort of a silly nuisance that is better suited to the acts of cartoon villains
perhaps there are two factions within the group and they just keep changing who among them is in power i dont know
this is silly
[text; FILTERED]
[text; FILTERED]
[text; FILTERED]
but i do have a few pieces of information, for whatever theyre worth.
idk if you put this together beforehand or knew it but according to multiple sources i trust "rocket" is actually something that people start out as
just like a trainer or a breeder
thats one piece
the other is that apparently the starters these people are supplied with get chipped?
[ he's one of two people she's spreading that information to, doesn't he feel special. ]
[text; FILTERED]
As for your information... I seem to recall someone theorizing about the first piece, and I'm glad to hear it confirmed. I suppose I can count myself lucky that I was assigned to be a breeder rather than a common thug.
As for the other... what do you mean by chipped?
[...technological illiterate here. And yes, he feels super special.]
[text; FILTERED]
well in that case i will keep an eye out but yes
yeah i have it confirmed on two parts
apparently anyone who doesnt start out at moms place is suspect
though i would have found that odd to start with tbh
i expect anyone bright enough will just gloss over that
or we would have noticed it much sooner
basically they have microchips or something put in them
so that when the rocket disobeys the team the pokemon attacks them?
that is my understanding of what i was told
[text; FILTERED]
he's pretty sure Armstrong wasn't a Rocket, though-]
That, and it's easy enough for someone to pretend that they simply haven't been terribly interested in the gear for a few weeks, particularly if they're from a less technologically advanced world. Though, what places have people started in aside from Goldenrod?
Ah, I see. That doesn't seem terribly surprising... though, if the Pokemon was traded to someone outside of Team Rocket, would they act in the same way?
[text; FILTERED]
also, i think people have started in goldenrod and new bark
thats it
:T you know i am not sure??
i dont know that any of them have ever tried to trade their pokemon...
[text; FILTERED]
Someone I knew had a Pokemon that had it out for him, and it was certainly... oddly single minded about it. I suppose I wouldn't be too surprised if he just had a Pokemon that hated him, but I really have to wonder... well, I suppose I shouldn't be too concerned about it given that he's been gone for quite some time now.
[text; FILTERED]
i didnt think anything of it until i was given a reason to tbh
because really i assumed there wasnt much logic in a random teleportation to this place to start with
it does make you look at things differently
i imagine if this information were more public it would cause problems
at least i predict it could
[text; FILTERED]
Oh, most certainly... but who would it cause more problems for, in the long run?
[text; FILTERED]
what tipped you off? :o
its hard to say
it could cause problems for the rockets but
honestly
the ones who arent outted are at least playing nice half of the time if not more
if youre known to be a member of a criminal team would you bother with even that much?
[text; FILTERED]
I know from my own experience in running into someone from a world similar to mine but with a very notable point of divergence that this place isn't incapable of drawing from very similar versions of a world, but it seems strange that there are less instances of significant divergence than one would expect.
...ah, yes, that's quite true. Furthermore, I'd imagine the ones that have the intelligence to play nice are the ones who are actually competent...
[text; FILTERED]
and something i have no explanation for
except that all timelines seem to have that level of coincidence
time is a tricky thing you know
yes exactly
there is absolutely no reason to give anyone a reason not to play nice i think
thats just the way i see of looking at it
also i expect some people might get upset with rockets who are more or less just pressganged into it by the world
[text; FILTERED]
There's that too, I suppose. I do think it's better to keep the information under wraps either way, as it gives us the extra advantage - even if it's just to keep tabs on who's likely to be in or not.
[text; FILTERED]
everything that has happened was always going to happen
and everything that will happen was always going to happen
that sort of thing
i'm not privy to the flow of time here, but maybe it runs much the same way
basically, yes.
right now, they don't know we know, for sure.
and i am always in favor of being on the side with more information, to be honest.
it makes things easier
[text; FILTERED]
Yes, it certainly does. Granted, it can't exactly be said that we have more information... we just happen to know some things that they do without them really knowing.
How did you come by this information, anyway? Is it from someone who's in the organization against their will?
[text; FILTERED]
and have to do with the flow of time itself
at least thats what i have found
thats something to start off of anyway!!
we can keep an eye out and if we notice any members i suppose keep a closer eye out
perhaps we will learn something of interest
by two persons who were in the organization against their will actually
they both told me parts of this of their own choosing
i hadnt suspected either honestly
[text; FILTERED]
Most certainly. Even if it takes them some time to do anything terribly underhanded, they do have more resources available to them than we do.
That makes sense. I can't imagine anyone who had anything resembling loyalty to the organization to give this kind of information out so freely.
[text; FILTERED]
if we had time details i could pull dave and we could discuss it
but i dont think either of us has seen anything particularly notable in that sense as of yet
it would be nice if we had an organization backing us admittedly
definitely not
it would be a questionable move
although it could always be that loyalty to the organization came second to loyalty to someone else
[text; FILTERED]
Indeed it would, but I'd rather not have to put up with being beholden to... well, that
Oh, certainly - and really, that "someone else" could easily always be one's self.
[text; FILTERED]
if
theyre the ones keeping us here...
yep
no interest in having an obligation to team rocket
or
well
any other team ive heard of
ngl i feel like that is a common loyalty priority
[text; FILTERED]
...what, are there others?
No, it's very true. Of course, it's not like I can blame anyone for that.
[text; FILTERED]
but yes i was referring to keeping us in johto and kanto
regionally locking us i mean
i suppose only that vague mention of an opposing team formed from our numbers
so not really
i cant really either!
although if i had to choose sides i am not sure "my side" would be the one i would be on
