[ Someone's certainly happy today. Aradia has absolutely no clue what's going on, but she knows when it's going on to exact degrees and she's a god tier troll again. Life is good! Although she's also apparently doing spontaneous teleportation, at least going places is a lot easier! She has all the time in the world.

May as well ask about whatever is happening, even if it's mostly happy. ]

This isn't normal, right? I've been to several different places without staying for very long, and I stopped taking my map out about five stops ago. I don't think I can check them off as places I've been if I only stay for a handful of minutes at a time, right?

Oh, but I'm a fairy again! Well, a troll. [ If that was not incredibly obvious from the video. Gray skin with a reddish tint when she flushes, curling horns, and yellow whites of the eye... ] I missed flying!

Is everyone else doing okay?

[ Alternately, catch Aradia as she's ported through to different places, although you might have to make do with a quick chat. Hopefully she doesn't catch you in an awkward position. She'll eventually end up at Violet City, where she'll be for most of the event. Happy lazy coincidences! She'll be flitting around town and poking at anything interesting and talking to whoever. Indy the Gastly is going to be out and flying with her for the duration of the event, because she pretty much never puts him in his pokeball. ]

Yes! After my third death. [ Original death, robodeath, dream self death...Aradia's a bit too cheerful recounting that sort of thing, but it's still really nice to be able to be cheerful about things.

There's no real reaction to the lisp beyond a little smile; it's never bothered her before. ]

Thank you, Sollux! How far is "way behind"? [ She can guess, but it's nice to know exactly what everyone remembers. ] Although I think I'm further ahead of most of the people I've spoken to, or at least as far ahead as they are!

The point, though, is that I think there are also space and universe problems as well!

I guess that just time issues would be too easy. At least if the universe is misbehaving as well we probably won't be expected to fix it.

Oh, I don't think we're expected to fix it. I don't see how we can, anyway. Do you know of anything we're meant to be doing?

This place doesn't seem to follow our path or our rules. It's...interesting. [ And nice. ]

[ Aradia is equally relieved, although she has to frown at the flickering screen. She taps on it for a second, worried the gear had broken somehow, before remembering something important about Roxy's aspect.

[she's silent a moment, mulling that over. it's...really freeing, actually. she thinks that if she could remember how it would be news that made her happy.

[ The smile Aradiasprite receives is sympathetic. Even if she can't remember how to be happy about how freeing it is not to have a set path, Aradia can - she'll just have to remember for both of them. ]

No. There are no obligations to destiny except what we choose to give ourselves, here.

And yes! That is a pokemon; it's like the human version of Fiduspawn, this place. I believe the "goal" is to become a "master trainer", although that is not a requirement so much as it seems to be a suggestion.

The fight with Eridan. [His expression turned suitably bitter for the course of that sentence, and never quite got back to its previous glee.]

I look good? I'm only wearing my regular clothes... [He flops his arms out a bit. What is there to like about this...]

[ Oooooh. That's not a good time at all. There's a sort of understanding now, at least, and Aradia nods, thoughtfully.

I guess if these...pokemon get attached so easily it's difficult not to accomplish the goal anyway.

[she blinks dully at the pokemon at her side, which cheerfully stares back at her]

Tavros would be better for this place than me.

[A bit new yes. Last time Vriska saw Aradia, they weren't exactly on the best of terms. At least back home, and pretty awkward here in Johto. But she's perfectly willing to accept this cheeriness.]

Well, that is the pokemon who was given to you on your arrival; to get more you must capture them! Which is also not too difficult, thankfully.

[ She nods at the mention of Tavros, thoughtful. ]

Yes, he would do well here, wouldn't he? I miss him.

[ Understandably so. Aradia wouldn't even be surprised to hear it; she could think of several timelines where she'd be less than pleased with the other girl, since she remembers them, although she's also moved past them. Enough to converse fairly cheerfully and come when called, at least. ]

Karkat went god tier, too, did you see? [ This is still interesting to her, and she's pretty eager to share the news. ] I don't think any of the others did, though!

[ At least Roxy is receiving uninterrupted footage, even if she isn't broadcasting it. Aradia returns the smile, relaxed and comfortable. ]

I was, too - although then I saw everyone else was having similar issues...

Oh! I've just been tele-hopping, too. I've seen some of our compatriots, but otherwise I've not been up to much.

Do you think the odds of him showing up are favorable? [her tone almost mirrors the other Aradia's, coming very close to pensiveness]

And I missed flying, too. I only ever got to do it in my dreams before coming here! [And that was a pretty long time ago now. Plus, since her dreamself was dead, Jade honestly didn't know if she'd ever be able to fly again back home. So yeah, Jade is obviously pretty ecstatic about this.]

[He attempts a smile. Maybe purposefully, this time it just looks like he's baring his fangs.]

Yeah, I guess seeing is a bonus. [Pause, as Sollux seems to realize something.] ...oh my god, I just realized. People actually don't die here. Otherwise I'd hear 'em.

I think there is a good chance of him appearing, yes. He's apparently been in this place at least twice before, that I've heard of!

[ That gets a laugh out of her, mostly because...well, that's true. ]

I can't hear anything, either! It's quiet, right? [ Aradia pauses, maybe to let the quiet have a moment, before continuing. ] And I still don't have anything I have to do. That's new, too.

[ Oh woooow! Aradia's never had a chance to see Jade's new form before, although she's at least aware of it via the letter John sent through. So she'll be going over to Jade and circling around her, getting a good look. ]

I think so, too! Although I've been kind of porting around without really meaning to. [ But oh well, right? ]

Hm. [the information seems to move her to reach a conclusion] In that case I suppose I'll catch as many as I can so that he can have a better start. It's something to do.
