[ Someone's certainly happy today. Aradia has absolutely no clue what's going on, but she knows when it's going on to exact degrees and she's a god tier troll again. Life is good! Although she's also apparently doing spontaneous teleportation, at least going places is a lot easier! She has all the time in the world.

May as well ask about whatever is happening, even if it's mostly happy. ]

This isn't normal, right? I've been to several different places without staying for very long, and I stopped taking my map out about five stops ago. I don't think I can check them off as places I've been if I only stay for a handful of minutes at a time, right?

Oh, but I'm a fairy again! Well, a troll. [ If that was not incredibly obvious from the video. Gray skin with a reddish tint when she flushes, curling horns, and yellow whites of the eye... ] I missed flying!

[ Alternately, catch Aradia as she's ported through to different places, although you might have to make do with a quick chat. Hopefully she doesn't catch you in an awkward position. She'll eventually end up at Violet City, where she'll be for most of the event. Happy lazy coincidences! She'll be flitting around town and poking at anything interesting and talking to whoever. Indy the Gastly is going to be out and flying with her for the duration of the event, because she pretty much never puts him in his pokeball. ]

[ The smile Aradiasprite receives is sympathetic. Even if she can't remember how to be happy about how freeing it is not to have a set path, Aradia can - she'll just have to remember for both of them. ]

And yes! That is a pokemon; it's like the human version of Fiduspawn, this place. I believe the "goal" is to become a "master trainer", although that is not a requirement so much as it seems to be a suggestion.

I guess if these...pokemon get attached so easily it's difficult not to accomplish the goal anyway.

[she blinks dully at the pokemon at her side, which cheerfully stares back at her]

Tavros would be better for this place than me.

Well, that is the pokemon who was given to you on your arrival; to get more you must capture them! Which is also not too difficult, thankfully.

[ She nods at the mention of Tavros, thoughtful. ]

Yes, he would do well here, wouldn't he? I miss him.

Do you think the odds of him showing up are favorable? [her tone almost mirrors the other Aradia's, coming very close to pensiveness]

I think there is a good chance of him appearing, yes. He's apparently been in this place at least twice before, that I've heard of!

Hm. [the information seems to move her to reach a conclusion] In that case I suppose I'll catch as many as I can so that he can have a better start. It's something to do.

Hmm. That's a good question! At my point in time, our players have yet to reach the new session.

If that's the case, maybe it's better we don't ask. [there's something that might be a smile after a few eons of evolution on Aradiasprite's face now] It might be nice to not know the outcome of something for once.

That's one of my favourite things about this place. [ Not knowing what comes next. Not needing to know what comes next. Not being responsible for any of it. ] Normally we're human here, but it's not a bad thing. The sun in this world is warm.

I doubt it could be any worse than everything else we've been. [she croaks again as if to emphasize her point]

No, not at all! I think my favourite iteration is this one. [ She gestures to...all of herself. ] But the human iteration is also a pleasant one.

I imagine that it's a lot less of a hassle to deal with as well. [the humans she's seen don't look particularly prone to random bouts of cryptic gamespew or ribbiting, at least]

Yes and no. I am still not entirely familiar with all that being a human entails, but...well, there are perks.

There are probably perks to everything. [a thoughtful pause] Even if I can't think of most of them.

I certainly didn't until today. [although given doomed timelines and such that wasn't saying much] It's probably one of the few positive things to look forward to in the future. Or, look forward to being able to look forward to things.

Yes! You can look forward to that, or at least can know it will happen and you will enjoy it happening.

I think that's as good as I'm ever going to get. [which was...exciting, somehow. to have something good in her future.]

This is sort of nostalgic. Since I came here, I haven't gotten to speak to any of us.
