ive never seen a hollow but i think that probably

perhaps alternia doesnt have those things if theyre an earth thing!

The Sereitei is basically the center of the afterlife! It's where the royalty and barracks for the soul reapers exist! A zanpakutou is a sword that soul reapers use for a variety of purposes.

But I guess if you aren't from Earth this doesn't apply. I mean, I don't think we have space soul reapers. Or, at least, I can't remember if we do! Do you guys have any afterlife things in Alternia?

well you sort of die
and then sometimes youre a ghost if certain requirements are met
and i was able to interact with the world because of my psychic abilities so

What are those requirements anyways? Do you have to be super super good?!

i came back as a ghost because of my connections to the dead i suppose
and because that was how things were always supposed to do
to come back to life you have to be a player of the game and another player has to kiss your corpse within the time limit

Oh! So you had friends on the other side! That's very useful to have, I think. I'm actually not so sure. Shinigami aren't really allowed to interact too much with humans, for a lot of reasons.

...They have to kiss your dead body? And you have to play a game? Your world is very different from most! [ And grosser but Momo won't judge. ]

Well, since you guys aren't humans, it'd make sense if your friends on the other side weren't humans too. Most of us Shinigami look human at least, but one of the captains is like an human and a cute dog at the same time! He's really tall and really big and really strong.

Yeah. I'm sure there is something to every world that's a little hard to explain. I guess my world would have chain of fate and hollows and your zanpakutou for the list of the crazy things!

what is a chain of fate and zanpakutou by the way

A chain of fate is when you die with a regret. Your body becomes separated from your soul and you become obsessed with that regret and are "chained" to it. Literally. Eventually, it'll get longer and you'll feel the need to break it when it causes you significant pain, but, if you do this, you can never return to your body.

A Zanpakutou is a sword that is materialized from your sword. Its abilities and its personality is a reflection of your soul and usually your innermost personality.

what does your zanpakutou look like?

That's probably because the world you live in is kinda different than ours!

My zanpakutou, when sealed, looks like your average sword. The tsuba, or the handle part that keeps you from touching the sword, has a flower pattern on it. Once it's unsealed, it straightens out so the blade is really straight and thin and then two prongs develop on both sides of it.

Yeah. My zanpakutou isn't here and I'd never leave it behind if I had the choice. Maybe the introduction of pokémon makes weapons unnecessary... I mean, I guess you don't need a sword if you have a bat that poisons things without really touching them...

[ Yeah. She considers Zubat's strong. Oops. ]

Yeah! A Zubat! They're so cute, and mine is weirdly colored than most but I'm really happy that I have one, you know? He's just the sweetest ever!

[ Yeah... She loves them all. Even the most annoying ones. ]

I'm not sure if she's shiny. I mean, she's a really dull olive green. [ She's still adjusting to her discovery of her proper gender. She just kinda assumed it since she wasn't particularly feminine. ]

Well, that's not the usual color for a zubat, at least...

So I've noticed! But I'm not sure how this makes it a shiny? [ She's being way too literal on this. Sorry, Aradia ): ]

Oh, shiny is just the term! It's the word for any pokemon who has a distinctly different coloration from the norm.

[tendered]

Oh! In that case, I do think he's shiny. I don't think I'd ever actually describe dark green as shiny, but, if that's what they call it... [ Eh, oh well. No need to fret over that. ] I bet other pokémon have better examples of becoming shinier when they are a different color.

Well, a shiny Togekiss I met was sort of gold and sparkly?

Ooh! Was it wild or did it belong to a trainer?! I wonder if I can ask them to see their shiny togekiss! [ She's excited to see a golden colored cutie. So so very very excited... ]

It belonged to John Egbert! And I'm absolutely sure he wouldn't mind letting you see it.
